  • NEC BSC closed or ‘We’ or ‘Our’ or ‘Us’ offers this service called “NEC Remit” to you or ‘sender’ or ‘customer’ for processing bank transfers worldwide.   • These Terms and Conditions apply to, govern your access to, and use of NEC Remit online website and mobile application and the services there on., By accepting the terms and conditions, sender consents to transfer the funds to the beneficiary account and you agree and oblige with all the terms and conditions.
  • The customer should have registered in the NEC remit system and should provide the valid identification /verification details and documents to activate and use this service as per the regulatory requirements. During registration you will provide us with true, accurate, current, authentic and complete information and documentation; and you will maintain and promptly update such information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. To avail the service, you must be a resident in Bahrain, with valid ID documentation for KYC/CDD purpose and should have an account with a local bank in Bahrain.By using this service customer represent and warrant that he/she meets the conditions specified and further indemnify us for using the service when the above mentioned conditions are not met.
  • All communications by the NEC will be provided in electronic means by email, SMS or by NEC remit notification not in a physical form/paper format. NEC is not responsible for any charges associated with SMS messages and is not responsible for technical malfunctions that occur outside of its proprietary systems.
  • All transfers will be normally available within 24 hours, NEC will be not liable if there is any delay, not limited to negligence; rejection and omission; malfunctions in communications facilities which cannot reasonably be considered to be under our control and that may affect the accuracy or timeliness of messages you send to us; any losses or delays in transmission of messages arising out of the use of any Internet access service provider or caused by any browser or other software which is not under our control; the services provided to you by your card issuer; viruses caused by third parties; errors on the Site or with the NEC Remit Service caused by incomplete or incorrect information provided to us by you or a third party; any unauthorized use or interception of any message or information before it reaches the Site. You warrant and confirm that you use our service only for legitimate purpose and activities.
  • NEC ascertains the foreign exchange rates based on the commercially available interbank rates plus the margin, the exchange rate will be adjusted several times a day based on the market.NEC also takes transfer fee for every transaction and this may change without any further notice. Total cost of the transfer is shown to the sender prior to the completion of the transaction. NEC will not be liable for any backend charges taken by the intermediary / beneficiary banks. We will not process a transaction if the card issuer bank does not authorize use of your bank card for payment of the transaction and our related charges; but not limited to event or circumstances out of our control.
  • All refund will be done through the NEC stores. NEC has the right to deduct the charges and the foreign currency amount will be converted to BHD at prevailing buying rate, unless the refund is to NEC fault. NEC will provide the full original amount to the customer if the refund is due to fault from NEC and you indemnify us from any other claims, actions, damages, liabilities, and costs of any nature caused by any other aspect.
  • We may block, or refuse the transaction if we are unable to obtain satisfactory evidence of your identity; we have reason to believe that the transaction message is incorrect, unauthorized or forged; if the transaction is suspected to breach any applicable laws including Anti-Money Laundering and Counter- Terrorism Financing laws and regulations, order of a court or requirement of any regulatory or governmental authority, body or agency having jurisdiction over us, or if we otherwise consider such action necessary to protect our interests.
  • By agreeing this terms and conditions you are responsible to maintain the confidentially of NEC remit credentials and you are transacting on your behalf and not for third parties. You are fully responsible to us for all activities that occur under your password and login. You agree to indemnify us and immediately notify us by calling on the customer service center phone number for any unauthorized use of your password or account e-mail login or any other breach of security. You indemnify us and hold yourself completely liable for any unauthorized access of your account where your account details are compromised from your end for any reason.
  • We agree to protect your personal information and transactions details as per the regulations of the Central Bank of Bahrain. You acknowledge and agree that information about you, and the services we provide to you, may be provided by us from time to time to regulatory or governmental authorities, bodies or agencies where: we are required by law to do so; or if we determine that such disclosure may help to combat fraud, money laundering offences or other criminal activity, and to perform our obligations. Customer’s records shall be kept for a period of 5 years and customer has a right to obtain copies of your documents. You authorize us to store your personal information and transactional data for the purpose of market analysis, market and statistical purposes and to provide the service in an improved way.
  • NEC Remit will be using the registered contact details of the customer for marketing purpose.
  • We may change our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Each time you send money with NEC Remit, you will be provided access to a copy of our Terms and Conditions before completing the transaction.
  • These terms and conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in the Kingdom of Bahrain and will be governed by laws of Bahrain.
